About Black Girls United

Black Girls United is a high school mentoring organization based out of Marietta, Georgia, designed especially for black girls; by black girls. The primary purpose is to build a sisterhood of positively engaged young black women through community service, female empowerment, and sisterly bonding.

Black Girls United was founded on March 22, 2016 by nine high school seniors, with the dreams of providing a safe space for young black girls in Marietta, Georgia. 2 years later, and we have 50+ members in our founding chapter!

Black Girls United's main focus is to build up the Young Black Queen! How so? By encouraging her, motivating her, and showing her the love that society does not always give her!
